HatchetFish ...the complete Tropical Fish and Aquarium resource.

The HatchetFish is part of the Characidae family, a vast family of smaller sized aquarium fishes. They inhabit Central Africa and Central and South America. They are characterized by an adipose dorsal fin and teeth. The adipose fin is a little
fat lump on the back near the tail, seen in most species.
